CelestiteGeode596.jpg (76858 bytes)This light blue Celestite geode is from J’bel Ayachi, Atlas Mountains, Morocco. It has a fracture line on the back of the geode. A quarter size hole in the rear is perfect for lighting up the inside. This one of a kind piece must be seen to be appreciated. It measures length 8 ½, width 5 ½, height 5 inches. Individual crystals are ¼ to ¾ inches. Price $540.
A pair of Celestite geodes is also available. Numerous other crystals from thumbnail to fist size are available.


PyritizedAmmonitePair625.jpg (87900 bytes)This beautiful pyritized ammonite pair, Quenstedoceras lamberti, is from the Jurassic Period (141 to 195 million years ago), Russia. These little gems have a green and gold sheen in the chambers that is most unusual. This pair measures 1 ¼ by 1". A few others are available, including some uncut ones. Price $60.

 


AgoniatiteAmmonite610.jpg (137304 bytes)This large Agoniatite ammonite is from the Devonian Period (347 to 395 million years ago) and comes from Jorf in the Moroccan Sahara. A one of a kind piece it measures length 10 ¼, height 8 ½, width 3 ½ inches. Price $330.

 


Trilobite640.jpg (166421 bytes)This fine trilobite, Asaphus cornutus, dates from the Ordovician Period (435 to 400 million years ago) and comes from Russia. It measures length 2 ¼, width 1 ¼, and the matrix is 4 ½ by 3 by 2 ¾. Price $250.

Trilobite673.jpg (175811 bytes)This trilobite, Flexicalymene retorsa, from the Ordovician Period (435 to 500 million years ago), Ohio measures length 1 5/8 by 7/8 inches. The matrix is length 4 ½, width 4, height ¼ to 1 ¼ inches. Price $50. Other straight or enrolled specimens in matrix are available.

 


Starfish649.jpg (93267 bytes)This rare starfish, Henrickia venturana, from Ventura, Californian is from the Eocene Epoch. The two halves have been repaired as one piece. It measures 2 1/8 by 2 1/8 inches. Price $100.

DiamontinaQuartz606.jpg (105626 bytes)This fine Diamontina quartz crystal from Brazil has a clarity that must be seen to be appreciated. It measures 5 by 3 ½ and the largest crystal stands 4 ½ inches.
The larger crystals measure 2 to 3 inches. Price $80.

SharkTooth648.jpg (112975 bytes)This shark tooth, Otodus obliquus, from Kouribgha, Morocco is from the Eocene Epoch (55 million years ago).
The tooth measures 2 ¼ by 1 ¾ inches, and the matrix is 5 by 2 ¼ by 1 ½ inches.

RubyInMatrix600.jpg (126081 bytes)This gem quality ruby in matrix is from Afghanistan. The individual rubies measure ½ by 5/8. The matrix measures 3 ½ by 2 ¾ by 1 ½ inches.
