crystal healing info for rookies?
My wife and I are into the holistic and alt. new age healing and wanted some crystals. We each got one while up in Sedona. Crystal Quartz for me and Hematite for her. We are new to this and are going to wear them on a necklace. We were told to clear them with white sage which we bought along with the crystals. I was wondering do they have to be reenergized right after they get cleared? Can you wear them 24/7? In the shower / pool? Can you sleep with it on? How often do you clear them if you are just wearing them around your neck?, and How many crystals could you have on a necklace? We just wish to learn all we can. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

The Crystal Healer by Philip Permntt and Crystals by Jennie Harding are two good books to read, they explain different ways to clean and energize your stones and they explain the different properties of each stone. I wear a hematite 24/7 on a hemp cord around my neck, I never take it off. I cleanse periodically depending on when it "feels" needed as I shower, I hold it in my hand and run my fingers over it many times during the day to help recharge it. hematite is used for building self confidence and to protect the wearer from negativity. It also is good for the circulatory system. Different stones should be worn in different ways and you can use more than one at a time if you do so properly. There are many many books out there check some out and find what's right for you. Good Luck!!
