what is the true size of a Megladon?
yet another story - in this one i have a mega shark who i picture as 4 times the size of a megladon. problem is - just how Big were they? i've not found any specific info on them on the internet. one photo shows a tooth next to a ruler, but i cant make out any numbers on that ruler. it looks like the tooth is 20cm+ but i have no idea if the ruler is in inches or cms. if anyone can point me in the right direction i'd be grateful. i can find out heaps of info on Pernese dragons. but Megaladons -that seems to be like finding a needle in a giant haystack.
I have read over and over again that it is about 50-60 feet, not 100. Its about as big as a humpback or sperm whale(if that helps). This is an estimate because its such a controversial topic. Scientists haven't agreed on the size of a megladon yet but I don't think they consider 100 feet to be accurate anymore. They got 100ft from a jaw they found, and than later found out that they took inaccurate measurements.
