One Flew East And One Flew West...?

"Vintery, mintery, cutery, corn,
Apple seed and apple thorn;
Wire, briar, limber lock,
Three geese in a flock.
One flew east,
And one flew west,
And one flew over the cuckoo's nest."

What Does This Nursery Rhyme Mean?

ive written nursery rhymes before, and ready many. i think one of the main components of them is their lack of sensibility just to make a rhyme (as is the case with the first 3 lines, though you could probably come up with a "conspiracy theory" type thing as to their meaning).

the three geese went their separate ways. perhaps they were friends. maybe the one flew over the cuckoo's nest so it could eat or kidnap a cuckoo?...........im making this up as i go. honestly i dont think nursery rhymes are made to be interpreted unless the writer secretly put a message in it (such is the case with "ring around the rosie").
