i want to make a crystal of salt or another mineral, and then light it somehow. like the ones you see for sale, but i want to build my own. can someone tell me how, or direct me to a site that can help?
1) Simply mix and stir as much salt (any kind of salt will do) as you can into a clear cup or bowl of hot water. make sure that it's completed saturated.
2) then tie a larger piece of salt crystal to a string and leave it in the heated water mixture.
3) allow the whole thing to cool down.
4) after it cools down, you should get a huge salt crystal on the string!
