Business idea - mini cabbing for immigrants?
Here's my idea - what've your opinion:
Find an immigrant sleeping rough in Hyde Park in London, Check they have a drivers licence in their country of origin.
Take they down to a car auction and get them to buy a cheap roadworthy MOT'd car for a few hundred pounds. I would pay the money but the car would be in their name.
And put them to work as a cabbie picking up customers from central London. They pay me 50% as commission until they have saved up enough cash to pay me back for the car, if they want to.
And then same again for the next immigrant.
Ummmm....... I think you need a UK licence, insurance, etc; all of which cost money. But if you really want to help someone that's down on their luck, go ahead. A small investment might have a big payback. Good luck!
