Naturalist Pin/Webelos

Learn about nature and the natural world.
Make a plaster animal track, soil profile, collect and label 12 different leaves and collect and identify 5 different rocks found here at JMCC.
PRE-REQUISITE: Birds: 2A. Observe birds for one month and write down your observations.
You must show proof that this was completed.

Make a collection of California rocks, minerals and fossils to keep.

Explore the forest and how it affects all living creatures.
Make a field notebook and collect and label 15 different leaf samples from the trees and shrubs of JMCC.

Be prepared to get dirty and have fun as you explore the world of textiles.
Learn weaving techniques and how to make your own dyes.
